Tangent Quattro MK2 – retro-styled internet radio gets an upgrade
This particular writer is a fan of the original Tangent Quattro internet radio, so an upgrade for the same money is a no-brainer for me. And that’s what you get with the Tangent Quattro MK2.
Updates include the addition of FM radio, an Ethernet RJ45 port and the WPA2 Wi-fi security protocol. That’s alongside the existing features of 9900 net radio stations, built-in Wi-Fi, music streaming from your computer, access to BBC ‘on demand’ shows and podcasts, connectivity for your iPod and Hi-Fi, backlit LCD display, top-end sound and of course, that heavyweight wooden cabinet.
There’s a choice of finishes, including the walnut above and high gloss, with prices starting at £179.95 – exactly the same as the old version.
